Alex Lewis has been dancing for over 15 years at Woodbridge School of Dance where she has studied in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, musical theatre and Bollywood. After graduating high school, Alex decided to do the Professional Semester Program at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. During that time she studied under some of the most well known teachers and choreographers in the industry, some include Derek Mitchell, Tracie Stanfield, Sheila Barker, Matthew Powell, Neil Schwartz and Jim Cooney.
Since then she was worked and performed with many dance companies such as Derek Mitchell Company, Jane Doe and Diwakar Performing Arts. With working in these companies she has had the privilege to perform in many shows; Sybarite, Rhapsody James Sirens, and Los Angeles Choreographers Carnival to name a few.
Alex resides teaching and choreographing at her home studio in Woodbridge, NJ. But still works and studies in New York to further her career in dance.
