Melissa Wilson
Teacher

Ms Melissa has been dancing with WSD since she was just 2 years old and she is now teaching the next generation her love of dance and music to even her own daughter Jazmine! Melissa continued her studies in dance and theater at Ramapo College of New Jersey, earning her BA while stage managing several productions during her college career.  Currently she teaches the little ones and loves seeing the excitement on their faces each week, especially when they recognize they’ve learned new steps and mastered her choreography.

Over the years Ms Melissa hasn’t just graced us with her presence on stage but behind the scenes as well by stage managing the recitals for over 20 years. She makes sure all of WSDs tiny dancers are stage ready from beginning to end, directing the shows with lighting and sound elements.

Along with her stage managing expertise and classroom fun with the babies, Ms Melissa is part of the team that brings continued enrichment classes, workshops and community outreach to dancers around the Woodbridge area. Ms Melissa is happy to have devoted her dance life to WSD and is looking forward to watching her tiny dancers grow and learn in the same studio environment she did! #wsdfam
